Lynette has a BS in Home Economics and a Masters of Education from Auburn University. She previously worked for Lee County Head Start and was a teacher in Arab City Schools; Elmore County schools and Tallassee City Schools. Lynette's past activities & volunteer participation are: Arab United Methodist Church (Youth Leader); Elmore County Board American Heart Association, Elmore County Relay for Life Team, Docent for Alabama Governors Mansion. While teaching in Arab she was selected as Arab City School Teacher of the Year. Presently she is active in the Wetumpka First United Methodist Church; serves as a Board member for the Elmore County Food Pantry; is involved with the Three Seasons Art League, Wetumpka Fine Arts League and Docent for Kelly Fitzpatrick Memorial Gallery.
